About Youth Sports
Youth Sports philosophy: Keep the program fun while teaching children the fundamentals of each individual sport. These programs are committed to being both educational and recreational at the same time. Participants should gain the tools and confidence to excel on an individual level while also building a sense of teamwork and comraderie that will stay with them in their future endeavors.

Sports Leagues
Children must be age 5 before season starts to be eligible. Must have a Current Physical. Season Schedule Dates May Vary - Make sure to check with Youth Sports for current sports season information.

*NOTE: Keep your child's physicals up to date by scheduling annually*

Spring

  • BASEBALL(Grade: K-5th)
    -T-ball(Kinders), Cap League(ages 6-8), Minor League(ages 9-11) *NOTE: Age groups may vary depending on enrollment*

    Games Begin: Mar
    Season Ends: May

  • FLAG FOOTBALL(Grade 6th-8th)

*Sports physical (within last 12 months) is required upon registration

Volunteers
The Vandenberg Youth Sports Program is always in need of volunteers. Position needed for up coming seasons: Coaches, Commissioners, Field Managers, Equipment Managers, and Publicity Managers. Youth Sports runs Advisory Council meetings to help organize the upcoming seasons. All coaches are certified through the National Association for Youth Sports (NAYS). You can make a difference, get involved in Youth Sports today!

Interested in becoming a coach? Your dependent youth will receive FREE registration for the sport you are coaching. Only one youth per assigned head coach.

Please sign up to become a volunteer at the Youth Center or call 606-2152.
