Personal & Family Readiness

Personal & Family Readiness Program: The Global Hearts program is a valuable support program for family members of Vandenberg Air Force Base deployed, remote, or TDY personnel in excess of 179+ days. The program provides an opportunity to share with other families in similar situations and to socialize/network with other adults and families. The Airman & Family Readiness Center, Base Chapel Community and 30th Force Support Squadron Services use this opportunity to evaluate the morale and welfare of the spouses and families and to provide information on programs, activities, and benefits available.

Families of deployed members can sign up for:

  • Car Care Because We Care (free oil change).
  • Give Parents a Break (free child care).
  • FSS BUCK$ (coupon booklet for FSS programs).

Family members can attend free monthly dinners and other special events. Spouses will receive weekly email updates about FSS Events and other breaking news occurring on the base and in the local community.

Come on in to our office located at 706 Washington Ave or give us a call at 606-0039 for more information. We look forward to supporting you and your family during your deployment or extended TDY.
